Played Tyranids v Tyranids against on Friday night and it was a cracking game. Love the sheer number of models on the table and as always a brilliant opponent.

My first GT of 10th edition and what a weekend it was at Throne of Skulls in Warhammer World. I brought my Necrons and decided against the Transcedent Ctan for a Monolith instead and see what happened. I had 5 great games against really wonderful opponents, a blast going away with friends and managed to bring home the third place trophy!

Game 1 was against a wonderful opponent and his Tau. I foolishly interpreted the Tau as being an anti-vehicle army and they proceeded to blast my infantry off the table. I clawed as many points as I could but this was a loss. Despite that it was probably the best game of the weekend fir banter and vibes.

Game 2 was against Death Guard and another great opponent. Mortarion and a terminator block did a lot of damage to my lines but I managed to hold the central objectives and scrape a win after a big last turn push. Great match.

Game 3 was Chaos Daemons with Belakor and Skarbrand and the highlight of this one was a surprisingly close melee combat between Skarbrand and the Monolith. Another great game and I took the win after removing all the big monsters.

Game 4 was Imperial Knights. I was glad that I had enough anti-vehicle fire in my list to deal with them as after I took out the armiger waves I had board domination and took the win.

Game 5 was against the dreaded Eldar including the Avatar and a Wraithknight, but the game was a pleasure thanks to another great opponent. This was a cagey affair but the infantry blocks held the objectives for the Phaeron and victory was assured despite some very good play from my opponent.

4-1 was a great run and it was absolutely one of the best hobby weekends I've ever had! Delighted to have taken home a trophy and huge thanks to all my opponents for a great weekend of games!

Attended the Galaxy Purge RTT in last Sunday and had 3 great games using my Death Guard. Went up against Necrons, Tau and Raven Guard, taking 2 wins and finishing 9th out of q tough field of 34 players.

It was also an opportunity to catchup with some friends and just have a really fun day of gaming.

Last 40K game of the year and it was my Black Legion throwing themselves into a wall of unbreakable bodies that is the Dark Angels. Brilliant game against a great mate and opponent and already looking forward to a rematch after a 68-68 draw (very rare in 9th edition!).

Played at the event on Sunday and got 3 games of 40k in with my Tyranids. Went 2-1 playing against Votann, Space Marines and Grey Knights and 3 lovely opponents. What also fun to try the post nerf Leviathan Nids and see how they fare on the table.

Attended the narrative event on Sunday with my Necrons and had 3 great games and a really fun day. Lovely venue and a great hobby day with a lovely bunch of players and looking forward to the next one already. Thanks for organising

Had an absolute blast at the event in Castlebar this weekend. 5 great games against lovely opponents and a variety of factions with 3 wins and 2 losses. Finishing 11th at the event and a result I'm delighted with. Can't wait till next time!

Hive Fleet Rhea ready to head to Mayo for the 40K major this weekend. Can't wait to see the round 1 pairings and have the craic while representing with sone friends.

Took on the new Chaos Knights for the first time and they are a very exciting opponent to face. The melee damage and shooting stats they have force quick decisions and a very enjoyable rapid game. I managed to pull out a big win and am looking forward to more games against these big Chaos monstrosities in the future!

Getting more games in with my Tyranids against the mighty Eldar and in a very competitive and strategic game. Came down to the wire but I lost this one, my first defeat to the new Eldar codex. Great game and already plotting for a rematch.

Took on the Blood Angels with my Tyranids on Friday and it is intense to see the difference Armour of Contempt makes in their survivability. Was still able to take a win against the Sons of Baal in a very fun and tactical game, and looking forward to a rematch.
