ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
ANGELA CASSIDY
(nee Maguire)
The family of the late Angela Cassidy, Main St, Ballyshannon would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us on the sad passing of our dear Mam.
Words cannot express our appreciation to all those who attended Mam’s wake and funeral. Many travelled long distances sent Mass cards and messages of condolence. Your support and kind words at this difficult time will not be forgotten.
To those who brought food, St Anne’s Church for giving access to their car park for the wake, Dorrian’s Imperial Hotel, An Garda Siochana, and those who made charitable donations to the Alzheimer Society and the North West Hospice, thank you.
To Fr. Paddy Dunne, Chief celebrant at the funeral Mass in St. Patricks Church, Fr. Dermot Burke, Fr. Thomas Keogan and Fr. Albie Ó Murchú OFM, co-concelebrants, the Resurrection choir, and the sacristan Mary, thank you all for giving Mam such a beautiful send off.
To Fr Dermot Burke who called monthly with the Holy Eucharist, never failing to bring a smile to Mam’s face, thank you. To Fr Paddy Dunne, Fr Dermot Burke and Fr Albie Ó Murchú OFM, who called to our home as Mam neared the end of life’s journey, thank you. Thanks also to Patrick Mc Kenna Funeral Director, Bernard Carty and the gravediggers for their professional service and support.
Thanks to Dr. Majella Grealish and the staff of the Bayview Clinic, Ballyshannon, Dr Brian Mc Colgan, Letterkenny, and Public Health Nurses Yvonne and Brigid who cared for Mam in the last number of years.
To the entire homecare support team thank you. Your kindness, professionalism and support will always be remembered. To the Northwest Hospice team thank you from the bottom of our hearts, the support you give at this difficult time is second to none.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
