Nano-Eh project H2020 NANO-EH has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation programme under grant agreement No 951761.

NANO-EH is an European project that aim to create a pathway for translating forefront knowledge of unique high frequency properties of emerging classes of nanomaterials into device engineering for scalable miniaturized energy harvesting/storage modules. NANO-EH (Nanomaterials enabling smart energy harvesting for next-generation Internet-of-Things) is a multidisciplinary European project that has t

he ambitious vision of creating a pathway for translating forefront knowledge of unique high frequency properties of emerging classes of nanomaterials into advanced device engineering for scalable miniaturized energy harvesting/storage submodules that are tailored for the specific needs of stand-alone, mobile or portable uses. It surpasses the current paradigm of energy harvesting materials by developing non-toxic and rare earth/lead-free materials exhibiting CMOS-compatibility and scalability for low cost and large-scale manufacturing. In this background, Nano-Eh project H2020 is a project funded by the European Union to promote the of use this IoT devices. Hence, the NANO-EH consortium has identified the need of capturing energy in addition to its storage 🔋for a proper device operation. At the moment, the NANO-EH consortium is integrating ⚒ the modules and conforming the final device in order achieve a demonstrator of the concept very soon.

The paper 📃 "Demonstration of microwave harvesting through pyroelectricity in cryogenic conditions: a quantum-to-experimental approach", signed by our colleagues from the IMT-Bucharest and the Univpm Università Politecnica delle Marche, was selected as one of the about top-50 🏆International Microwave Symposium (IMS) submissions for inclusion into the IEEE Microwave and 📡 Wireless Technology Letters, meaning that the IMS paper will be published in MWTL as a letter at the same time. The paper will then appear in MWTL Special Issue on IMS instead of the IMS proceedings.
