We grew a client’s website traffic by over 500% in just one year!

Your website should not be built for your C-Suite!

Your customers are the ones who are buying, not the C-suite. Your website should be built for your customers, simple as! Sometimes we are too close to the website and want to include sections and elements based on our own feelings or opinions, but to be honest, our opinions don't matter.

A website that actually works is built on research, not opinion. Who your customer is. The exact problem they arrived with. What they’re trying to find. Then every page is built around them, not around what looked nice in a boardroom.

Before you change anything on your website, put yourself in your customer’s shoes and walk the journey:

They land on the page. What’s the first thing they see?

What problem did they come here to solve?

Where do we clearly show them we solve it?

What’s the one next step we want them to take?

Get that right, and your website stops being a brochure and becomes a salesperson that works for you 24/7.

Build for the person who buys, not the person who signs off.

30 minute websites VS 3 month websites.

It may seem easy to get a pretty looking website up and running using AI but that's all its going to be if there is no strategy or development behind it.

It'll look nice but won't actually do anything to support your business.

A decent website is developed from a strong strategy that's built around your business and built for your customers. It will have a solid SEO strategy in place, include smart automations to save you time, a content strategy to get you showing up in search and be secure and complaint for GDPR and Data Protection laws.

And that's just the the start of it. You also need to factor in updates and changes as your business grows as your websites should grow with the business.

If you want a site that will support your business and convert to give you a good ROI, your investment should be around the 5k mark and around 2 to 3 months to develop.

If you want a 30 minute site built with AI, go for it, just know it may cost you more in the long run.

Maybe we all need the confidence of a politician?

During my mentoring sessions, a lot of new and experienced business owners I help seem to have the same "What if something goes wrong?" attitude, or say, "No, I couldn't do something like that", when they have the skills and experience to do so.

If Simon Harris can become the Tánaiste and Niamh Smyth the Minister for AI, and have the confidence to do so, then you should have the confidence to do what you've always wanted.

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard. Just be consistent, find your market and get at it!

Most agencies will make your SEO sound far more complicated than it needs to be. But this is all you need to do to get started.

Target one search term per page.
Write useful, helpful and informative content on that page.

Then take that term and make sure it's in your H1, your page title and your meta description. That's you telling Google clearly what the page is about.

Next, write three blog posts around that same term, and link each one back to the page you're trying to rank. That's how you build authority. You're showing Google that you're the authority in your industry for this search term.

Then, stay consistent! Keep building on your content, making sure you create helpful articles and web content that answers customer questions and is directed to help them get what they need.

That's genuinely it. No tricks or €5,000 strategy.

Googles Spam Update for Sept is Here!

This effects all websites and online platforms globally and it could make a big difference to your site performance.

It's not fully launched as of yet so we don't have the full insight (and if anyone tells you otherwise, their lying to you).

What you need to do is monitor your Google Search Console, track your website clicks and impressions and see if there are any major drop offs in your Search presence.

If there is, you may need to restructure your content strategy. If you're following Googles HEEAT guidelines, then you should be ok.

The Be There Strategy.

If you want to show up for your customers, be there! Not everywhere, but where they are likely to be. A lot of marketers will try to be everywhere, on every platform or at every event, but you're just making your life more difficult.

Using the Be There strategy allows you to be in the right place at the right time, so when customers come looking, there you are.

Start by identifying your ideal customer. Write out everything about this customer. Give them a name, an age, and a location. Write out their likes and dislikes and create the user persona that will help you to narrow your scope to find your ideal customers.

Doing this will help you to identify what platforms they are likely using, what events they may be going to and even what problems they may be facing. Using this information will then help you to create the right content for the right customer, on the right platform.

It will save you time, it will save you effort, you'll know where to invest, and it will more than likely lower your marketing spend.
