14 years ago we were presenting Tom Swift’s play Emerald City in the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington DC. How quickly an incredible resource like this can be destroyed by ego. Latest threat is to knock it down!

“It’s almost impossible to satirise what’s going on.”

A brilliant feature on Pretty Vacant in this weekend’s The Irish Times , with writer Tom Swift Tom Swift and director Jo Mangan Jo Mangan talking to Laura Slattery about greed, dereliction, regeneration, community — and trying to make satire when reality is already fairly ridiculous.

Pretty Vacant lands at An Taisce's Tailors’ Hall as part of Dublin Fringe, 15–20 September.

Fun from the rehearsal room, where the plans are ambitious, the tunes are banging and absolutely everything is ripe for redevelopment.

We hit Tailors’ Hall, Dublin 8 from 15–20 September as part of Dublin Fringe.

All performances are currently WAITLIST ONLY.

But don’t abandon the development just yet. We’re hoping to release a small number of additional tickets over the next week or so. Keep an eye on us / join the waitlist / manifest aggressively.
