A little friendly competition soon became very competitive at our recent Wood Communications team outing to Kylemore Karting!! 🏎️🏁

Congratulations to our podium finishers:

🥇 Aaron Lucas
🥈 Gary Allen
🥉 Keith Mahony

The three of them were seriously quick and certainly left the rest of the Woods team in the dust!

A brilliant day out with plenty of laughs, close racing and some very determined driving. Well done, lads 👏

We are delighted to support Kilnamanagh A.F.C's Buy a Brick fundraiser by sponsoring a Wood Communications brick! 🧱⚽

Kilnamanagh AFC is just down the road from us in Ballymount, so we are very happy to get behind this worthwhile local initiative. The funds raised will help cover the remaining cost of the club’s new clubhouse, while giving local businesses and supporters a lasting way to contribute.

If you would like to support the club too, you can find out more here:

Data centre capacity is growing quickly. The knowledge needed to support it has to keep pace. 💚⚡

AI, cloud and continued investment in digital infrastructure are driving continued growth across the data centre sector.

But behind every facility are people making decisions around power, cooling, cabling, availability, security and operations. Understanding how those areas work together matters.

That is one of the reasons we were keen to bring internationally recognised EPI Training & Audit/Certification training to Ireland.

Our first classroom programme is the CDCP® Certified Data Centre Professional, taking place in Dublin this September.

Proud to support Leixlip United Football Club ⚽

Wood Communications was delighted to contribute to the sponsorship of the club’s new men’s training tops.

It is always nice to support something local, and even better when one of our own is involved. Our colleague Gary Allen, who plays with Leixlip United, is pictured with Derek Finlay and his personalised training top.

Wishing Gary and the team the very best for the season ahead 👏

A busy week at Wood Communications with the first delivery of over 20km of fibre optic cable arriving from our partners at Corning Optical Communications.

This is the first of three deliveries supporting a major data centre project in Leinster, helping provide the fibre infrastructure needed to keep large scale connectivity projects moving.

Behind every project like this is a lot of coordination, planning, stock availability, trusted supplier relationships, and a team that understands what needs to happen on site.

A big thank you to our team, our partners at Corning, and everyone involved in helping support this project.
