Our client, Keeler wanted to launch an innovative new product that would allow opticians in India to help people in remote communities. The product was a portable retinal scanner named MIO. The idea was to communicate the product benefits in a familiar format, so we used a simulation of a WhatsApp conversation.

It was a simple but effective idea. The Keeler Mio has gone on to demonstrate its value in ROP screening, particularly in expanding access to care in underserved areas around the world.

What’s in a name

Your company name is something that you have to live with for the duration of the time you are trading, so it pays to spend some time on it. Do some research, look at competitors, look at the big brands and the stories behind their names.

Be inspired.

- It doesn’t have to say what you do and it doesn’t have to have your location
- it should be short and easy to say, and it should be memorable.

There are lots of ways to create a name, take D***x for example:
DUrability, REliability, EXcellence
