Be aware that liking an app on facebook and allowing it permissions to post on your behalf etc, can just be a privacy risk.
I clicked apps and then setting and checked the permissions for an old app that I used called Cities I've visited. And the permissions it required were shocking and a mile long. Please note that there is a new app from Trip Advisor with the same name that is legitimate.

Scenario. You want to email/send/upload photos, but the file sizes are too big. There a number of ways to reduce the filesize.
Method 2.
If you have lots of photos and you want to send them regularly, you can use a number of programs.
A good, small, free one that I use is called FastStone Photo Resizer. It does exactly what it says on the tin.
Download from http://www.faststone.org/FSResizerDownload.htm
A straightforward installation and then open the program.
If you want to convert a batch of photos, select the source folder, add the photos you want to convert. Select the destination folder and click "Convert".
You can select advanced features for more options if you prefer.

Scenario. You want to email/send/upload photos, but the file sizes are too big. There a number of ways to reduce the filesize.
Method 1
If you only have a few photographs, you can do it in Microsoft paint.
Right click your photo, click "open with" and select "Paint".
Click the "resize" button and type 50 in the Percent Horizontal and Vertical lines and click "OK"
Click "save as" and give the reduced photo a new name. Done.
Using this method, you can reduce a photo to 10% percent of the original file size. I my example, from 6.4MB to 0.6MB

Open Google Play and search for WiFi FIle Transfer (this app is free, ignore any requests to upgrade to a paid version, you don't need it). Install it and then open the app. This works over you web browser and it will ask you to type an adress into it a web browser on your latpop of PC (Internet Explorer, FIrefox or Chrome, all work fine) so open the web browser of your choice and type in the address. It will be usually something like http://192.168.0.2:1234 Once that's done, it will open the Wifi File Transfer Page, then click on File Browser, then my photos or my pictures. Select the folder you want and click the download button or open the folder and select individual pix. I fyou download the a folder be aware that it will have to be unzipped on your pc afterwards.

This is to resolve an annoying problem some Android phone and tablet users might have. If your device is constantly updating apps whenyou want to use the internet on your device instead, you can disable auto-update in the settings. Just turn it on again every month or so for an hour and then turn it off again once the updates are done. To do this click the Google Play icon on your device, the menu butoon on the top left corner, then settings and finally click the auto update button and change it to "do not autoupdate".
