Hi there. A tech "heads-up" for anyone running Office 365 apps on a Windows 7 or older PC or laptop: You may find that your Office 365 subscription keeps telling you that your product is unlicensed. Windows 7 runs older networking protocols and it seems Office 365 cam no longer use these protocols to validate your license.

I am still looking for a reliable fix to this, but in reality you should be upgrading to Windows 10 (soon to become Windows 11) as your systems are quite vulnerable to outside attack.

Here's some computer news for a change from the rugby stuff: If you have a Kyocera or Utax printer you might find that your PC now reboots whenever you try to print. This is due to a problem between a recent Windows Update and the Kyocera & Utax printer software. It may affect other printers too.

Contact me on 087-2530979 if you're struggling with this and I can arrange to update the printer software. If you're brave enough then update your printer software to the latest version 4 (v4) XPS printer driver - this seems to be one of the few that actually don't reboot Windows.

As April 5th approaches we're all getting a bit optimistic. Hopefully a bit of Touch Rugby - along with loads of other sports - will be allowed to break out soon! Please like & share this info on Touch Rugby hopefully coming soon to Ardee.

Touch Rugby is a great summer exercise, and a good bit of fun for friends & family with mixed games. A good outlet for businesses too, to put out company teams, similar to 5-a-side soccer, etc. No rugby skills needed, just a bit of unspent energy, and the desire for a bit of craic!

FYI - The terms of the Trading Online Voucher have reverted to the original co-funding requirement. The TOV will cover 50% of development costs up to €2,500 ex. VAT. It's still a very cost-effective way to get your shop back open if you've been forced to close.

The co-funding requirement has reverted to the original 50% of development costs. You can still avail of up to €2,500 of the development cost of an online store, but you must match any voucher funding with the same amount now.
