We go back to 2010, when Wenas Agusetiawan, currently the CEO of PhaseDev, was still managing his website, LintasBerita.com and freelancing for Kaskus.us, KapanLagi.com, and many others. Back then, he had this vision of founding an IT company, a start-up which would consist of the smartest engineers on the planet, the top of the cream, with the main goals of providing the most reliable IT service
and of delivering the most user friendly products at the highest standard possible to its consumers. Through coincidences and connections, he was met with another person who shares the same vision and dreams, Dimas Surya, the current CFO who used to own a wildly successful auction website. Meetings after meetings and after countless hours of brainstorming, ideas and concepts were born along with the realization of it in the form of PhaseDev (PT. At the time, both were still in their 20s, a relatively early age to start one’s own company. Their vision, complemented by their great passion in Information Communication and Technology development, was the fundamental of PhaseDev. The name itself originates from the idea that Software Development is a highly complicated process, which needs to be done phase by phase, or in short iteratively. In February 2010, both was joined by Jeffry Anthony, who takes the role of CTO, a Software Engineer whose expertise is in end users product development and have years of experience in professional software development. Jeffry had worked as a Game Programmer at Nexon, where he worked on 2 MMO titles, and as Embedded OS Developer at Ericsson as part of the development team behind the award winning SmartEdge router. Jeffry is also an alumni of SMUK 1 BPK Penabur Jakarta and Simon Fraser University, one of the top universities in Canada. Under their guidance, leadership, and supervision, PhaseDev has now become a fast-growing profitable business with 30 professional software developers in three major departments: Mobile Application Development, Desktop Application Development, and Web Development. The proof of its capabilities and commitment to customers can be seen from the fact that it has successfully completed and delivered some very difficult and challenging projects for major corporations such as Bagus Group, Axioo Computer, Bank Mega, Tempo, Megindo, and many others.
