The 10 Unwritten Rules of Working From a Café
1. If you’re planning to stay for hours, don’t just buy one coffee — support the place.
2. Keep your music to yourself (headphones exist for a reason).
3. Need to take a meeting? Find a quiet corner, not the middle of the café.
4. Don’t move all the furniture like you’re redesigning the layout.
5. Be mindful of power outlets — you’re not running a server farm.
6. Big tables are for groups, not solo laptop warriors.
7. If you leave your stuff, make it quick. One hour max — not half a day.
8. Outside food? No. Rice cooker? Definitely no.
9. Bring your own water or tumbler, but maybe keep it off the café table — respect the vibe.
10. And remember: you’re a guest, not a tenant.
