Qulto® is the essence of our expertise gained in cultural heritage and knowledge management IT - integrated library, museum and archival systems, collection management solutions at their best. We unify our cultural and science related software, hardware and content solutions (named as ‘cultware’) under this brand, which together make up a coherent whole. The members of our corporate group (Qulto C

ompanies) together with our partners are proficient in different professional specialties, this way as a network they have the ultimate knowledge necessary for implementing major projects. With our growing number of clients we build up a coopearting community; we call this network the Cultware Network. We assemble our solutions from lego-like components, which communicate with each other according to international standards. This way our codes can easily be recycled and we can quickly build new solutions from them. Also with the help of standards, we integrate them to either open source, or business solutions. We ourselves gladly use open source or freely available components too, and we return our developments back to the related online communities. We consider the cultural and secientific contents and the related metadata to be a semantic network, and this approach serves as a shared basis for our solutions ranging from inventories to gamification. We operate in the CEE region and Turkey running offices in Hungary, Romania and Poland.

🌿 Közös értékteremtés Mórahalmon: bepillantás a készülő kiállításba

Március 24-én sajtónyilvános bejárás keretében volt lehetőség betekinteni a Szikes Mórahalom - Látogatóközpont, Bivalyrezervátum és Gólyamenedékház kulisszái mögé. 🦬✨

A Qulto csapata konzorciumi tagként vesz részt ebben a különleges projektben. Partnereinkkel közös célunk, hogy a legmodernebb technológia segítségével közelebb hozzuk a természetet minden generációhoz.

Miért lesz különleges?

💡 Kreatív együttműködés: A projekt az összefogás erejére épül – szakértők, tervezők és kivitelezők dolgoznak együtt a Nagyszéksós-tó világának bemutatásán.

🎮 Játszva tanulás: Interaktív megoldások és kreatív játék ötletek sora biztosítja, hogy a gyerekek és felnőttek észrevétlenül, élményeken keresztül szerezzenek tudást a helyi ökoszisztémáról.

✨ Élményalapú ismeretterjesztés: A digitális tartalomfejlesztés során partnereinkkel arra törekedtünk, hogy a látogatóközpont minden szeglete egy-egy felfedezésre váró történet legyen.

As the transborder project Banat Heritage Portal is closing to the end, we were excited to meet once again the team of the Muzeul Banatului Montan Reşiţa. This time, the Qulto team delivered a workshop for the experts and administrator of the platform developed through the project. The event was hosted by the County Council of Caraș Severin, on February 19. We discussed final touches, possible improvements and sustainability options for the platform. Támogatást nyertünk 'A könyvkereskedelmi ökoszisztéma kiterjesztése MI-alapú, innovatív, piacképes kereskedelmi integrációs platform létrehozásával' című projektünk fejlesztéséhez. A munka folyamatban, a szolgáltatás élesbe állásáról is mindenképp híradással leszünk! 📣

A projekt azonosító száma: DIMOP_PLUSZ-1.1.2/A-24-2025-00260

A fejlesztés tárgya: A könyvkereskedelmi ökoszisztéma kiterjesztése MI-alapú, innovatív, piacképes kereskedelmi integrációs platform létrehozásával

A szerződött támogatás összege: 34,94 millió Ft

A projekt tartalmának részletes bemutatása: A fejlesztés eredménye egy MI és BigData-alapú felhő szolgáltatás, amely biztosítja a közgyűjteményi adatok aggregációját, GDPR-kompatibilis feldolgozását és monetizációját MI-alapú ajánlók, keresési eredmények és az online kulturális turisztikai vagy könyvtári felületek könyvkereskedelmi csatornaként történő felhasználásával.

Az új szolgáltatás lehetővé teszi, hogy a felhasználók MI segítségével célzottan ajánlott könyveket, e-bookokat és hangoskönyveket vásárolhassanak online a könyvkereskedőktől a könyvtári és kulturális turisztikai felületeken.

A projekt tervezett befejezési dátuma: 2026.08.31.

A projekt a Széchenyi Terv Plusz program keretében, az Európai Unió társfinanszírozásában valósul meg.

We had a great time at the Reșița conference dedicated to cultural heritage and technology! Organized on October 21 by Muzeul Banatului Montan Reşiţa, the conference was part of the Banat Heritage Portal project, a transborder project that aims at creating a shared portal for promoting the cultural heritage of the Banat region.
Our team introduced, from a technical perspective, the first step towards creating the Banat Heritage Portal (still a work in progress) - a new digital space where history meets innovation.
From metadata to 3D scanning and virtual museums, it’s all about making heritage more accessible and engaging.
Thanks to everyone who stopped by, shared ideas, and tested the apps and tools presented by Qulto. More updates coming soon on the outcome of this project!

We are in the beautiful city of Oradea, for the annual conference of the National Association of Romanian Librarians. We started, this morning, the series of Digitization Workshops, organized together with the Mountainous Banat Museum in Reșița. The event is part of the transborder project, that the museum is implementing, together with a serbian partner, the Institute for Hungarian Culture in Vojvodina. The first day was dedicated to standards, good practices and introductory concepts about the Digital makerspace created through the project. For the next 2 days, the participants will already start to use the makerspace and generate digital resources based on local cultural treasures.
