A complete control system for around 130 euros.
For a startup business, it is so easy to install Blinky-Lite to control and monitor your devices. However, for security, it is good practice to have your devices on a separate network from your home or business network. With Blinky-Lite, this does not have to be complicated or expensive.

Pictured below is a Blinky-Lite box installed on a Raspberry Pi 4 computer which costs about 60 euros. The network switch costs about 35 euros and the wireless access point also costs around 35 euros.

Blinky-Lite Application Builder has just been upgraded to 9 different card types and 13 different cube types. We did this because building event driven controls applications can be quite complicated so Blinky-Lite has a application builder that makes it easy for the user to build her own custom dashboard application without having to do any programming. The user just configures a JSON file to create her own unique application.

Blinky-Lite Mode 0 beam stabilization has increased beam brightness at MaxIV Light Source.

3 GeV Beam operations at maximum intensity has just resumed at MaxIV for 2024. The mode 0 beam stabilization system has been key to achieving the MaxIV beam brightness. Without the system, MaxIV would only be able operate at 25% of its current operating intensity. The Mode 0 beam stabilization system is based on the Stemlab125-14 signal acquisition and generation platform integrated into the Blinky-Lite framework resulting in a compact, low-cost but robust system. The Mode 0 system has been operating for over a year without causing any down-time to the .

With Blinky-Lite, we developed a complete remote web-based control platform for the LS-224, complete with three custom web applications for control, monitoring, and curve loading.

(SCRF) cavities are a key technology for compact commercial electron . The cavities are cooled to about -270C and are monitored with sophisticated measurements systems such as the LS224 developed by LakeShore Cryotronics. The LS-224 provides 12 channels of temperature measurement and can store 60 sensor calibrations curves with each curve containing up to 200 points. The complexity of the instrument can be challenging for a typical name-value pair based control communication protocol to handle. However, this is not the case with the system-view architecture of Blinky-Lite.

The Blinky-Lite platform has an integrated logbook app. However, a logbook is only useful if people read it. Now, Blinky-Lite makes that easier! We have hooked up the logbook app to our publish-subscribe alarm notification. Now, when any changes are made to the logbook, subscribed users will be notified on their Android or iOS mobile phones.
