Padova back in April
I always would like to post some drawings and pics, but then life goes busy.
So here are some sketches and photos of the nice and chill Padova -as we experinced it after the busy week in Bologna, and the Bologna Children's Book Fair, spening some time there wondering around and meeting our friend. 🤗❤️

People, some moments of life captured in my tiny sketchbook. ✏️✨
There are a few quite recent in this selection, I even had time to draw last week along my students, teaching Urban Sketching (3rd and4th pic). They were so enthusiastic despite the heat. I feel so good when I can pass on my love for drawing from life, but the biggest hit was for them: "you can draw ugly" :) because it is fun,and lot of ugly sketches helps you to develop further, practice and achieve good, better drawings.
I love my ugly and semi-ugly sketches :D

Múlt héten vittem be új FoltFirkantó képeslapokat -rajzolható és megrajzolt formában is- a Kornél -ba. Kedves ajándékkísérő lehet ballagásra, szülinapra, névnapra és akár közösen is megalkothatjátok és így személyessébtehetitek a kártyát.

🗞🌍Népszava Visszhang mellékletében jelent meg tavaly egy interjú a Föld Napján nyílt interaktív FoltFirkantó kiállítás kapcsán velem és Vágó Mariannával, a Kornél tulajdonosával, aki életre hívta ezt a csodás kàvézó&galériát Kornél

🗞🌍 interview was published last year in the Népszava Visszhang supplement about my Interactive ShapeScribblers (aka FoltFirkantó) exhibition opening on Earth Day with me and Marianna Vágó, the owner of Kornél, who brought this wonderful café & gallery to life.

I am so excited to share that my project "ShapeScribblers" aka "FoltFirkantó" have been longlisted for the World Illustration Award 2026 in Design Product & Packaging category. ✏️✨❤️
Huge thanks to the jury, I am incredible honored to be in the 500 out of 4500 entries! Congratulations to all selected artists!
I am looking forward to the continuation - cheer for the shortlist ;) 🤞, but no matter what happens, this is a beautiful result and prestigious professional feedback for me, because I do this project of my own with all my heart and I still have so many ideas for its further development! Long live the FoltFirkantók! Thank you to those who have already bought from me, supported me or are selling my products in their stores: they can be found in the és stores in Budapest! ;)
