We're heading to Hillhead 2026. From June 23–25, the Emlid team will be in Buxton for the UK's largest quarrying and construction show.

Stop by Stand RD16 and see how Emlid performs where it matters most: on site. Try our equipment in real-life conditions and talk face-to-face with the team behind the technology.

A commercial building pad needs 2,500 m³ cut and 1,500 m³ fill. The crew creates a 3D model of existing ground. The engineer builds the design surface.

What’s next? The surface is uploaded in Emlid Flow 360. On site, the dozer runs the grade, while the crew verifies every couple of passes with Reach and Emlid Flow. Pad comes in on target.

Over-excavation in a low corner gets caught early, before it compounds into a fill problem. Grade verification happens in real time, with your whole team. Anyone can check the work against the design.

Running Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is great for seeing what’s underground, but let's be real: your data is only ever relative to your starting point.

Add an Emlid Reach rover to the cart, and everything changes. Tying centimeter-level RTK positioning directly to your GPR acquisition system means:
🔹 Finding subsurface anomalies immediately in the field without extra surveying.
🔹 No more manual data alignment during post-processing.
🔹 Subsurface slices that perfectly overlay with drone orthophotos and excavation grids.

From mapping ancient structures to locating underground utilities, the workflow for surveying with Reach and GPR remains straightforward and repeatable.

GEO Business 2026 is in London next week.

If you're surveying, mapping, or running infrastructure projects, come talk about what actually works in the field.

Our team will work through your specific challenges and show you what the RS4, RS4 Pro, and RX2 can do.

Find us at Booth G165, June 3–4.

The trench is open, the pipe is in, the clock is running.

Everything that happens between now and backfill determines whether this job holds up at inspection, and whether the next crew to excavate here finds the pipe where the record says it is.

We covered how field teams run RTK across a full utility and wet utility project, from staking the alignment to capturing the as-built before the trench closes.

You'll get the full picture of how a GNSS receiver covers every accuracy moment on the job, without calling the survey crew back every time: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0vv4fN0

What does it take to map tens of thousands of hectares across Africa's most challenging terrain?

A VTOL drone. A LiDAR scanner. High-resolution cameras. And a GNSS setup that actually performs when it matters.

3DroneMapping's BESSIE VTOL drone paired with the Emlid Reach RS4 Pro base achieved LiDAR accuracy better than 25 mm and PPK positional accuracy of ~10 mm.

See how they did it: https://eu1.hubs.ly/H0vfSqF0

Still sharing one GNSS kit across the whole jobsite? Still touching the same project file 5–6 times before it lands where it should?

That's the workflow Garney Construction has been rebuilding.

In our newest customer story, Construction Technology Manager Scott Brown explains how the company is moving water and wastewater projects past the bottleneck. Reach RS4 Pro and RX2 receivers in more hands across the team, and field data syncing to the office through Emlid Flow 360.

As-built documentation just got easier with photo attachments in Emlid Flow!

With the latest Emlid Flow 11.4 version, you can now attach photos during point and line collection, point creation, and stakeout.

See exactly what was being measured. No more juggling a separate camera or trying to remember which photo belongs to which coordinate.

Just start collecting, staking, or creating a point, take a photo in-app or upload from your gallery, and collect or save a point as usual. Everything flows instantly to Emlid Flow 360 as part of the point info.

Update your app to v11.4 today to get started!

As KLS Earthworks grew, the team needed to handle layout and grade checks across 30-60 job sites.

By giving 20 site supervisors Emlid RX & RX2 rovers, KLS made it easier to complete routine checks right in the field. That helped crews keep work moving and gave the survey team more time to focus on planning and project support.
