New Business Development Manager Wanted!
About the Job
The Business Development Manager is a senior role in the company in charge of the overall development, implementation and tracking of the company’s sales strategy.
The role requires active and hands on approach to reach potential clients in person during exhibtions and events, meetings, and also during online sales calls, and sales related emails. The Business Development Manager needs to be able to devise a medium-term vision, based on a thorough understanding of customers, trends, and opportunities, with attention to detail. The person needs to feel comfortable taking calculated risks, identifying and exploiting opportunities, and achieving business advantages. The Business Development Manager has a business efficient level of English and has a general knowledge and experience in the do-s and don’t-s of the sales process when it comes to costumer relations.
Main tasks and responsibilities
• Developing and executing a sales strategy
• Finding new business opportunities, markets, and customers
• Keeping contact with key customers,
• Improvement of sales processes and methods
• Preparation of quotations, development of pricing guidelines
• Analysis of market trends and competitors
• Preparation of reports and forecasts for management
• Cooperation with marketing and other related areas
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
• A proven track record of 3-5 years of professional experience in Sales and/or Business Development Field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• C level English skills booth verbal and written
• Experience in IT, Software Development, Manufacturing preferred.
• Experience in working in Arabic regions is preferred.
• Cross-functional experience in Online Marketing is a plus (not mandatory).
• Working network of existing contacts and trade relationships.
• Strategic ability -- develop specific, valuable, innovative, and commercially focused strategies, but also grasp the ‘bigger picture’.
• Commercial acumen -- strong understanding of sales processes and financial systems.
• Analytical skills -- strong planning and negotiation skills with a sound understanding of financial bottom-line implications of sales and marketing decisions. Able to analyse sales data, draw the best conclusion, and develop initiatives with the highest value for the shopper, customer
• Negotiation experience -- successful front-line retail negotiation experience and problem-solving skills.
• Presentation skills -- demonstrate great presentation skills that provide highly relevant and commercially viable strategies/processes in a clear, concise, and empowering way.
