As part of the 2021 Sustainability Expo and Summit, we had the opportunity to present our river waste monitoring solution, , to Ocan Nasuru, Uganda's Ministry of Water and Environment.
This year officially became a partner country of the Clean Seas Campaign. It is one of the African country to join this global movement, launched in 2017 by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). The initiative aims to fight against water pollution by plastic waste.

A Planet Budapest 2021 Fenntarthatósági Expó és Világtalálkozó keretében lehetőségünk nyílt bemutatni folyami hulladékfigyelő megoldásunkat, a -t, Ocan Nasurunak, Uganda Vízügyi és Környezetvédelmi Miniszterének. Uganda egyike a Nílus vizein osztozó 11 afrikai országnak. 2021. június 25-én Uganda hivatalosan is a Clean Seas Campaign partnerországává vált, csatlakozva ahhoz a globális mozgalomhoz, amelyet 2017-ben indított el az Egyesült Nemzetek Környezetvédelmi Programja (UNEP). A kezdeményezés célja a műanyaghulladék okozta szennyezés elleni küzdelem.
