It’s just not the same anymore. The platform has changed. The audience has changed. The effort required has changed. People aren’t double-tapping just because something looks nice — you actually have to earn attention now.

That being said, social media matters more than ever. For most businesses, it’s the first place people check before they ever call, visit, or buy. It’s your first impression. And first impressions still count.

So don’t get discouraged by the numbers. They’re not equal to what they used to be. And honestly, we’re not measuring likes the way we used to either. Likes don’t pay the bills. Visibility, inquiries, conversations, bookings, and sales do.
