Neos

Neos Solutions and services: cloud and systems integration, advanced analytics and software engineering. Neos was founded in 2002.

Neos provides business solutions and services across cloud and system infrastructure integration, advanced analytics and software engineering. We primarily support clients in financial services, telecommunications, utilities and the public sector, with delivery built for complex enterprise environments. In January 2026, KONČAR Group, through KONČAR Digital, acquired a majority stake in Neos. In it

s 2026 Market Guide for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Professional and Managed Services, Gartner named Neos a Representative Vendor for the second consecutive time – one of twenty vendors worldwide, and the only one headquartered in Croatia. In 2024, Neos received the Oracle Best in Class Customer Success Partner Award for Technology Service Providers and the Oracle Global Leaders ISV Champion Award. Neos has been an Oracle partner from the start and has achieved multiple Oracle specialisations in that time. We hold Oracle Cloud Managed Service Partner (CMSP) status and carry Advanced Expertise in Oracle Onsite Support as one of three Oracle-authorised Field Delivery Partners in Croatia. Neos operates across a broader technology ecosystem. As an IBM Gold Partner, Neos has established capability across IBM's platform alongside its Oracle track record. Through its partnership with the FinOps Foundation, Neos operates as a General Partner, FinOps Certified Service Provider and Certified Training Provider. Our wider partner ecosystem includes Collibra, AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft, Red Hat, JetBrains, Cloudera, VMware and Couchbase. Neos is present in Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina through local subsidiaries, both operating as Neos Tech. We invest continuously in consultant development through project delivery and our R&D department, strengthening methods and expertise across client environments.

Most organisations no longer have an AI problem.

They have an AI coordination problem.

Developers use different tools, different models and different workflows. That flexibility drives productivity, but it can also make governance, shared knowledge and cost management much harder.

JetBrains' latest announcement isn't about introducing another AI assistant. It's about what comes next as AI becomes part of everyday software development.

We explored why this shift matters and what it could mean for engineering teams.

https://www.neos.hr/the-next-stage-of-ai-development-isnt-smarter-models-its-better-coordination/

For the past two years, the conversation around AI in software development has focused on one question: Which model should we use?

This June marks ten years of EuroNKS, FINA's payment system for SEPA credit transfers and direct debits in euros. It went live on 6 June 2016, as part of Croatia's national migration to the European SEPA scheme.

Ten years is a long time for any system to run without most people noticing it's there. EuroNKS settles transactions on a net multilateral basis, clearing through the Croatian component of the TARGET system and connecting Croatian banks to the rest of the SEPA area – quietly, every working day, for a decade.

Behind that decade are people. Stjepko Katulić, Josip Mihaljević and Filip Filipčić from our Software Engineering team have been part of the EuroNKS development and maintenance, working in partnership with TIS GRUPA.

What was once new infrastructure for Croatia's payment landscape is now operational reality for every commercial bank in the country. Ten years on, that's worth marking – and worth thanking the people who kept it running.

Our thanks also go to the FINA team behind EuroNKS, led by Gordana Soldo and Andreja Malkoč from Financial Industry Services Sector.

AI coding agents are no longer interesting only because they can write code.

The more important question is whether they can fit into the way software is actually built.

That means planning before implementation, working with tests, using runtime context when debugging, supporting code review and leaving developers with changes they can understand, verify and trust.

JetBrains’ latest AI updates point in that direction: less focus on chat as a separate place for answers, more focus on agents as part of the development workflow.

In our new blog, we look at what Codex becoming the recommended agent and Junie leaving Beta say about the next phase of AI-assisted development.

Somewhere in Zagreb right now, someone is mowing their lawn. Someone else is fixing something that's been broken for weeks. A few people are driving somewhere, unhurried.

Croatia at 10 AM on a national holiday. Not paused - just breathing differently.

Happy Croatian Statehood Day.

Some of the most meaningful developer experience improvements are not the ones that make headlines.

They are the ones that remove a few seconds here, a few clicks there, and make everyday work feel smoother.

JetBrains recently introduced updates that caught our attention for exactly that reason.

One changes how developers interact with the IDE. The other changes how they interact with code quality findings.

Different problems. Similar outcome.

We looked at both – and why these kinds of improvements matter more than they might seem at first glance.

When people talk about developer experience, the conversation usually goes straight to AI, performance or new language support.

For the second time in a row, Gartner has named Neos a Representative Vendor in its Market Guide for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Professional and Managed Services.

Twenty vendors. One from Croatia.

Most organisations assume that deep Oracle Cloud expertise means working with a global firm. We have spent 24 years proving otherwise - and now there is two years of independent research behind that claim.

If you are in the EMEA region and evaluating OCI partners, we would be glad to talk.

Neos is now a BMC Software partner.

Through this partnership we can help organisations bring fragmented IT environments under a single orchestration layer - applications, data pipelines, cloud, mainframe, SAP, file transfers - visible, connected and manageable from one place, across hybrid environments.

Last week, Yiannis Nasios, Regional Sales Manager for Eastern Europe at BMC Software, came to meet us in Zagreb - and together we defined where Neos will focus within the BMC portfolio:

- Control-M - the market-leading platform for workload automation and orchestration, managing application workflows and file transfers across complex hybrid environments.

- BMC AMI - a portfolio that helps organisations transform mainframe operations for the modern era, covering DevOps, AIOps, security and database management.

This is what building for the future looks like from where we stand.

CLion 2026.2 roadmap is less about one big feature and more about everyday friction.

Debug setup.
External sources.
CMake target renaming.
Zephyr profiles.
Live watches.

These are the details that can slow C++ and embedded teams down.

JetBrains’ roadmap points to a clear direction – less configuration hunting, cleaner inspection and more practical project navigation.

We covered what matters in the latest CLion roadmap and why these updates are worth watching.

https://www.neos.hr/clion-2026-2-is-focused-on-the-work-around-the-code/

The CLion 2026.2 roadmap is not built around one big headline feature. It is focused on something more practical: reducing the friction around C++ and embedded development.
