In the ever-growing forest of information (and slop) it's important to step back and remember the fundamentals.

Generative AI is a tool, a statistical model that predicts what is likely to come next. It is useful for some things like drafting, editing, translating, summarising and exploring ideas.
But it doesn't decide what ideas are worth pursuing. It doesn't have taste, curiosity or conviction. Those are still our job.

It made for an engaging discussion and we're grateful to everyone who contributed their perspectives. Thanks to Podravka for hosting the workshop, great conversation and the best company.

Some of our work for Podravka is public: digital activations, prize contests, web experiences.

With a few days away from June, Croatia moves toward peak tourist season. When demand is high, every second spent searching or struggling with language can mean a lost booking.

On the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ) website, accommodation browsing is available in 11 languages, which shortens the search path and reduces friction for both domestic and international guests.

This approach supports:
◾ Quicker navigation through large volumes of offers
◾ Lower drop-off during high-traffic periods
◾ Smoother distribution of demand across different regions

Going into the summer months, this kind of clarity and speed on the official destination platform helps visitors decide faster and arrive better prepared.

At a busy conference booth, attention is short and conditions are unpredictable.

To make the Studenac gamified experience playable, we designed a lightweight web app tailored for real-world constraints:
◾ Large, readable UI for distant screens
◾ Quick flow from curiosity to gameplay
◾ Intuitive filters and short instructions
◾ Stable under variable internet conditions

✅ The game ran 150+ rounds over two days with zero issues.

Studenac, a Croatian supermarket chain, wanted to showcase its internal Location Assessment Tool (LAT) in a conference setting.

We transformed this complex tool, used to evaluate potential new store locations, into a “Human vs AI” game.

How it worked:
▪️Players picked locations on a map and competed with LAT’s scoring.
▪️The interface was simple and playful, keeping the experience approachable.
▪️Scoring model rewarded both top national locations and standout city or municipal picks.

✅ Complex analytics became fun, interactive, and memorable.

After each project, we ask:

▪️ What slowed us down?
▪️ What can we improve next time?

In December, we take a step back and look at the full picture.
From first conversation to going live.
▪️ We decide which parts need updates.
▪️ We confirm what still works perfectly.

A clear structure, combined with regular reflection and adjustment, keeps our process effective and our products better.

All for another year of delivering simple software and excellent results.
