I Am Just a Woman… Without a Head and a Moustache (ja sam samo žena... bez glave i brkova) is a work by the artist known under the pseudonym Luna Lido. Written in a humorous style, the book reflects on everyday female experiences, the harshness of the world we live in, and the expectations and sacrifices women are often required to endure. In the context of today’s global reality and the alarming number of femicides, it also serves as a reminder that women are not alone.

It was an honour for me to work on this project as a woman myself. The book’s stylised illustrations of female figures are also created by the author, Luna Lido.

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Lea Ivančić Žic Peša and illustrator Lara Mucko on the book Stani, diši, pusti, pleši (Pause, Breathe, Let Go, Dance), which explores themes of ADHD and autism. My contribution focused on the layout of the book’s interior, while the cover design and illustrations are the result of Lara Mucko’s beautiful and impactful work.

According to a review by Sanja Katalinić, PhD, MD, psychiatrist, the book is a valuable contribution to the field of mental health literature, distinguished by its brave and emotionally resonant portrayal of the lived experience of a neurodivergent woman, alongside accessible clinical insights. The author, Lea Ivančić Žic Peša—psychotherapist and AuDHD individual—brings together professional expertise, empathy, and personal experience, making even complex topics feel relatable and empowering.🥰😍🤩
