An extraordinary moment for Studio Sonda: Label Created by the W**e Itself – Piquentum Brut Nature has received the Diamond Award at the 2026 PENTAWARDS, the competition’s highest distinction and one of the most prestigious recognitions in the world of packaging design.

And that’s not all! The project also received Gold in Beverages - W**e (light), along with a Certificate in Beverages - Fine w**es and ch*****ne, making this an achievement we’ll remember for a long time.

The awards were celebrated in London at the Pentawards Gala Ceremony, which brought together the international packaging design community for a special evening marking the competition’s 20th anniversary. Our official Sonda expedition joined the celebration, representing Studio Sonda on a night that means so much to our team.

For a creative studio based in a small Istrian village, seeing an idea developed together with nature reach the highest level of international packaging design recognition is something truly special. It’s a strong reminder that the reach of an idea isn’t defined by where it comes from.

Another reason to raise a glass to Piquentum Brut Nature! 🥂

Label Created by the W**e Itself – Piquentum Brut Nature has brought home a Golden Drum in Packaging Design (One-Channel Drum), and a Silver Drum in Art Direction (Craft Drum) at the 2026 Golden Drum Awards!

And there's even more to celebrate! In the final 2026 Golden Drum rankings, Studio Sonda placed 2nd in both the Adriatic Agency of the Year and Independent Agency of the Year rankings, standing alongside some of the region's and Europe's leading creative agencies.

With two awards across two categories and two second-place agency rankings, this year's Golden Drum adds another exciting chapter to our international award journey.

It's always special to see an idea born in Vižinada stand alongside creative work from across Europe and beyond. And even more special when that idea is shaped by the w**e itself.

A big thank you to the Golden Drum jury for the recognition, to everyone who helped bring this project to life, and to the team behind the festival for another celebration of creativity in Portorož. ❤️

What happens when creativity moves beyond the creative industries?

That question was at the heart of CROATIVA - Outside the Box, the first conference of the Croatian Chamber of Economy’s (Hrvatska gospodarska komora - HGK) new initiative connecting creativity, knowledge and entrepreneurship to create new opportunities and lasting value.

Our Founder & CEO Sean Poropat joined the "Outside the Box” panel to bring Studio Sonda’s perspective to the conversation - from building a creative business in Vižinada to exploring how stepping beyond familiar approaches can create value not only for clients, but for the places and communities around us.

A fitting conversation for a studio that has always believed where you start doesn’t have to define how far an idea can go.

A Grand LIA for Piquentum. 🏆

Label Created by the W**e Itself - Piquentum Brut Nature has received Gold in Beverages at the 2026 London International Awards - and went on to receive the Grand LIA in Package Design, the highest recognition awarded by the jury in the category.

Seeing a project born in Vižinada reach the very top of LIA’s Package Design category, alongside outstanding creative work from around the world, is a moment we’re incredibly proud of.

And this one comes with a special thank you. Our physical samples took an unexpected detour through customs, and the LIA Awards team couldn’t have been more patient, understanding and helpful throughout the process. ❤️

Drumroll please... 🥁

As the award season continues into the fall, we have yet another reason to celebrate Piquentum Brut Nature project - this time, Label Created by the W**e Itself has been shortlisted at the Golden Drum Awards in the Packaging Design and Art Direction categories!

Now in its 32nd edition, Golden Drum brings together creative work from across Europe and beyond, with its competition recognized by both the WARC Creative Rankings and The Drum World Creative Rankings.

Next stop: Portorož, where the winners will be announced on October 13. Fingers (and drum sticks) crossed! 🍾

Our Creative Director, Jelena Fiškuš, joins the 2026 IMPACT Awards Jury, bringing together industry experts from across Europe and beyond to recognize outstanding work in brand experience.

Organized by the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA), the European umbrella association representing the communications agency industry, the IMPACT Awards celebrate work that goes beyond visibility to create meaningful engagement and measurable results.

Entries open on October 15. Looking forward to seeing what this year’s competition brings!

Another award has found its way to our doorstep, this time, a Gold ED Award for the packaging of Piquentum Brut Nature. 🏆

We’re always happy to see our work recognized and to know that the ideas, craft and stories behind it resonate beyond our studio.

It’s a lovely reminder of why we do what we do, and we’re grateful to everyone who helps us bring these ideas to life.
