📌 What’s the best thing about your team and your position?
The best thing about my role as a QA professional is the satisfaction that comes from ensuring our client receives a high-quality product. My responsibility is to ensure no major bugs get delivered, and finding and addressing these issues is an incredibly rewarding aspect of my job. Witnessing the satisfaction with our implementation is genuinely fulfilling. It reinforces the impact of our efforts and the value we bring to our clients, creating a sense of pride in the work we do.
And there is also the incredible dynamic of our team. Despite being spread across different countries, we collaborate seamlessly. The diversity within our team brings various perspectives, making problem-solving more effective and stimulating creativity. The mutual support and motivation we provide each other, even from afar, contribute to a positive and productive work environment. It's truly inspiring to be part of a team that overcomes challenges together and delivers exceptional results.
📌 Your greatest experience at IBM iX so far?
One aspect that stands out for me is the daily learning. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities, allowing me to expand my knowledge and skills in a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere. Furthermore, the sense of accomplishment and motivation that comes from achieving significant goals for our clients with my team is unparalleled. Working together to overcome challenges and deliver successful outcomes has been a source of pride and inspiration. It reinforces the importance of teamwork and the collective impact we can make.
📌 Your favorite quote and why?
Ultimately, 'keep moving forward' encapsulates the idea that life is a journey, and even in the face of difficulties, one should strive to progress, learn, and grow. In QA, we embrace the discovery of bugs as they are integral to improvement and success. It was important for me to recognize from failure, we learn more than from success, and to change my perception that failing is something good.
