Tony Parisi has been at the forefront of the virtual reality and Metaverse industry for over 25 years, and his contributions have been instrumental in shaping the way we experience immersive digital worlds today.
Tony's impressive resume includes co-creating international 3D graphics standards like VRML, X3D, and glTF, as well as authoring several foundational books on 3D graphics and VR. His expertise in the industry has also led him to be a leading spokesperson for the immersive technology space, having given speeches in multiple countries about industry trends and innovation in augmented reality.
Previously, Tony was Head of XR Ads and E-Commerce at Unity, where he oversaw strategy and product for the company’s real-time 3D brand advertising and commerce solutions.
Currently, Tony serves as the Chief Product Officer at LAMINA1 , a new layer 1 blockchain for the Metaverse. He is also an advisor and limited partner in early-stage venture firms including ME Ventures, a future-focused investment fund providing opportunities for creators to grow and succeed.
In addition to his work in the tech industry, Tony is also a composer and musician, having recently finished the cast recording for Judgment Day, a full-length original musical.
