Including EVERyone in GREEN Data Analysis This will be carried out through the achievement of 3 general objectives on project level:
1.

Project EVERGREEN aims at contributing to the digital and green transformation of higher education through crosssectoral transnational cooperation and IT curriculum modernization. To develop the digital and sustainability competences of educators in higher education and trainers working with NEETs through educator training and expertise exchange,
2. To increase IT students' employability and envi

ronmental consciousness through the development of a joint course curriculum and learning and teaching materials on data analysis of environmental issues in partnership with the business sector.
3. To make higher education more inclusive of diverse groups of learners through cross-sectoral partnership, and the offering of more modular and flexible forms of education. All objectives will contribute to the better integration of higher education institutions in local communities, and improve their social and environmental footprint on local and EU level. The project will produce the following concrete results:
- improved digital and sustainability competences of 10 educators (8 in higher education and 2 working with NEETs),
-improved employability and knowledge of data analysis, in particular of environmental issues, of 60 undergraduate students (15 students from each of the higher education institutions included in the project) & 8-10 NEETs,
- created blended model of learning in higher education through cross-sectoral transnational cooperation among 4 higher education institutions, 2 companies from the IT and green production sectors, and a NEET academy.

As part of the EverGreen project, a prestigious scientific conference on informatics was held in the Slovak city of Poprad from November 12 to 15. 🌍💻

Each project partner had the opportunity to present their own paper at the conference, showcasing their expertise and contributions to the field. 🤖📈

We extend our gratitude to all partners and organizers for this excellent opportunity to exchange knowledge and ideas, as well as to strengthen collaboration through the EverGreen project.

Last week we participated in the EverGreen Project online team meeting, where we finalized the book that will be published and reviewed all key details regarding the project and the upcoming conference in Tatras, Slovakia, next month. At the conference, we will also present our papers and findings.

We are excited to be nearing the completion of this important project, which promotes the use of data analytics to address environmental challenges. 🌍📚

🌿 Transnational Project Team Meeting 8: Including EVERyone in GREEN Data Analysis took place on September 5th, 2024, at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences in Kranj, Slovenia.

All partners of the EU-funded EverGreen Project gathered to review the progress as the project nears its conclusion, discuss the upcoming publication in which they are co-authors, and prepare for the final conference in Slovakia this November.

Key discussions included the project review, finalizing book translations, and refining the learning environment for future students.

Our EU project Evergreen brought us to Pardubice, Czech Republic, where our partners participated in the TPM Transnational Project Team Meeting. 🌿

Our hosts at Studuj UPCE presented their work and progress, while we collaboratively worked on the book chapters resulting from the project.

This collaboration is a fantastic example of presenting the project and delivering excellent lectures! 💡📚

Last week, a workshop was held to present the Evergreen project to the business community in Trokut Šibenik - Inkubator za nove tehnologije It included chapters of the book we are actively working on with other project partners. 🌿

The Evergreen Project is designed to strengthen the digital readiness, resilience, and capacities of teachers and students, building their digital competencies and sustainability skills. This will be achieved by creating new and innovative courses and learning materials on data analysis and environmental data analysis, through cross-sectoral transnational cooperation.

Our colleague Ivan Šoda also presented how the Evergreen project will help address skill mismatches at the national and European levels by increasing the number of IT graduates skilled in data analysis, trend identification, forecasting, and information extraction.

As part of the EU project EverGreen, we held a lecture titled Women in IT.
Ivan Šoda presented a project designed to strengthen digital readiness, resilience, and capacities of teachers and students while building their digital and sustainability skills.

Specifically, this will be achieved by creating a new innovative course and learning materials on data analysis and environmental data analysis.

Project results will be developed in collaboration with the business sector, particularly IT corporation who will join as associate partners. 🌱💻

Reflecting on our visit to the entrepreneurial hub Kovačnica with our partners Univerza v Mariboru Studuj UPCE Veleučilište u Šibeniku Trokut Šibenik - Inkubator za nove tehnologije

It was fascinating to explore the Smart City solutions in action, how they harness data, improve urban traffic, and delve into projects in Kranj.

The connection to climate change made the visit especially meaningful. 🌱
