We’re coming back from HR.Weekend with two recognitions - Top Workplace in the IT industry and 3rd place in the Best of the Best category among small companies in Croatia.

This year, 78 companies took part, with 45,779 employees participating in the evaluation. And that is the part that matters most to us.

Companies do not nominate themselves for these recognitions. They are evaluated by their own employees through eNPS, engagement and 12 dimensions of employee satisfaction, with the results compared against market and industry benchmarks.

Top Workplace is awarded to companies performing at least 15% above the average, while Best of the Best recognises those performing at least 25% above it.

We build custom software. That means long-term projects, complex problems and teams spending months working through the same architecture, the same challenges and the same deadlines together.

It’s hard to do that kind of work well if people don’t feel good while doing it, that’s why these recognitions mean a little more to us.

We turn ten on the first day of autumn. Fitting, for a company that's spent a decade watching seasons change. 🎂

What a ride.

We went from talking about AI like it was the Terminator, to writing code with it and getting genuinely annoyed when it gets something wrong. From dreaming about working from home, to turning down jobs that ask for one day in the office.

Crazy, isn't it?

Ten years taught us one thing above everything else. Not that things change, everyone knows that. It's that you never notice it while it's happening. Nobody sends an email to say the old way has stopped working. You just look up one day and the thing you were great at three years ago isn't what anyone needs anymore.

Behind our ten years are thousands of decisions, hundreds of mistakes, and a lot of people.

So, a few thank-yous.

To the team here today - thank you for caring, for pushing back, for handling the chaos, and for making this a place we still enjoy showing up to.

To everyone who passed through (a year or many) - part of what Factory X is today is here because you were.

To our clients and partners - thank you for trusting us with your ideas, your problems, and sometimes a surprisingly large part of your business. Especially those who took a chance when we were small, and those still here years later.

We used to think a good company was a logo, a website and a few smart decisions. Now we know it was the people who chose to be part of our story.

Većina studenata programiranja uči tehnologije, ali rijetko vidi kako u praksi izgleda cijeli sustav.

Zato kroz stručnu praksu studenti kod nas prolaze kompletan proces izrade modernog cloud-native rješenja.

Ne samo kao promatrači.
Nego da svaki dan prakse preuzmu drugu profesionalnu ulogu:

✔️ Business Analyst
✔️ Database Developer
✔️ Backend Developer
✔️ Frontend Developer
✔️ DevOps Engineer

Tijekom ovogodišnje stručne prakse koju je vodio Ratko Ćosić, u 40 sati rada studenti su kroz konkretne zadatke radili na razvoju aplikacije koristeći Microsoft .NET, Blazor, Docker i Azure cloud.

Ako si student koji čita ovo i ako želiš:

- raditi na stvarnim projektima
- razumjeti kako industrija funkcionira prije prvog posla
- i ući u razvoj s boljom slikom cijelog procesa

onda ovakvi programi prakse rade stvarnu razliku.
