NB IoT or LORA, why not both?

At Gravity Vector, we are designing our new product IoT platform development board for future product releases.

The board ecosystem consists of 32 bit 200MHz MCU running RTOS and interfacing with hardware on-chip graphical acceleration for HMI display interfaces and touch screen I2C panel.
Additionally, we integrated onboard GPS, WIFI, LORA, 5G NB IoT, BLE, and 2xCAN, 16 channel led driver, RTC

Apart from that, we added front end analog DSP processor with 16 analog high-speed inputs for signal acquisition.
And 16 high current outputs for delivering power at 12 constant and 4 PWM outputs.

Yesterday on 7 April we celebrated World Health Day, a global health awareness day. The theme for this year's World Health Day 2022 is “Our Planet, Our Health’’. Through this year's theme, we are encouraged to focus more on the well-being of our planet and the humans that live on it.

Here at Gravity Vector, we believe in taking action to create an environment and society that is inclusive of the well-being of the planet and the people living on it. We believe that with our work and knowledge we can contribute to creating a better quality of life for us all.

We are grateful and proud of the opportunity to take part in a project by Bluedrop Medical which developed a patented system to reduce the burden of diabetic foot ulcers. The creative team at Bluedrop Medical took action against diabetic foot disease and combined detection technology with the internet of things, to create a connected health system capable of identifying ulcers early, where they can be treated more effectively and cheaply. With the help of their device, patients can avoid drastic complications such as amputation. (Source: www.bluedropmedical.com)

During our collaboration with the team at Bluedrop Medical, we implemented several software modules specific to the image capture and scanning process of the device itself, in addition, we devised parsing of debugging logs. Including complete hardware and software level tests according to IEC 62304.

During the development process, we were using:

-Change Control
-TDD and BDD tests
-High and Low verification tests

Gravity Vector is just finishing dual channel single phase Pulse Width Modulation motor controller of internal 50W x 2, motor controller project, together with Application for testing and monitoring.

Project scope:
- Dual PWM single phase dc motor controller
- LCD display 16x2 with on board push button for controlling - both motors
- RS485 with custom data layer protocol
- Bare metal firmware implementation
- .NET GUI for monitoring and remote control

Today at 8:30 pm (local time) we take part in a global event, EARTH HOUR, that takes place on the last Saturday of March each year. By turning off our lights and other electronic devices for one hour we raise awareness of the dangers of climate change.

There is no time like now to transfer our source of energy to renewables energy sources such as solar panels and wind turbines. Gravity Vector offers the possibility of connecting solar panels and wind turbines to the cloud. With today's technology humankind has the opportunity to take larger actions in preserving the environment. We only have one Earth so let's be kind to it!
