Physical games are dying? Resident Evil apparently missed the memo 💿

Alinea Analytics estimates Resident Evil Requiem sold 1.3 MILLION physical copies on PS5.

Those discs alone generated 1.8× the revenue of ALL Xbox versions combined physical, digital and Xbox PC.

Meanwhile, Sony is ending disc production for new PlayStation games in January 2028.

$630 MILLION. And GTA 6 hasn’t even launched.

💰 Sensor Tower estimates 6.45 million digital pre-orders.
📦 Physical copies aren’t included.
🚀 Launch-day purchases are still ahead.

If the estimate holds, GTA 6 is already 63% of the way to a billion dollars from digital pre-orders alone.

A video game store owner in Nice, France, has become an absolute icon thanks to this incredible photo of him standing amid the destruction left by rioters.

The circumstances are tragic, and the senseless destruction of someone's livelihood is absolutely disgraceful.

But let's be honest. This is one of the most badass photos we've seen in a very long time.

- Campaign impressions are driving the strong early reception

After Modern Warfare III, a campaign people actually want to talk about for the right reasons is a welcome change.

These are still early-access impressions, but so far, so good.

More than 10 years of announcements, release windows and delays... and we get a bloody Steam page.

Welcome back, Wing Commander. But is it a little too late?

📅 Squadron 42, Star Citizen’s single-player campaign, is now listed for Q2 2027. Another date to look forward to. Cautiously. Very cautiously.

🎬 A new trailer, “The Oath”, features Mark Hamill, Gary Oldman and Rhona Mitra.

💾 A 150GB install. No price yet.

🎮 Chris Roberts said the game moved out of 2026 to avoid GTA 6.

GTA 6 has leaked again, six weeks before its 19 November release 🤯

The leaker Cyberleek has reportedly posted around 25 minutes of what's claimed to be GTA 6 gameplay. VGC says it has seen the footage and that it looks authentic. Rockstar and Take-Two haven't confirmed or commented.

What it reportedly shows:

🍺 The Thrillbilly Mud Club from the first trailer
👗 Clothes shopping
🏁 A dirt race and a street race
🔧 Car tuning
🔞 A lot of nudity
🪖 A spawned-in tank, possibly a cheat or a sign of a modified build

None of this is official, and it's unclear whether the build is untouched or whether the final game will look the same. Take-Two has reportedly been chasing the leaker since August, with subpoenas aimed at Microsoft, Discord, X and YouTube.
