Who we are looking for?
We are looking for bright teammates who are passionate about web design and development. The position involves creating functional and aesthetically superior designs for our marketing as well as development teams.
In this role, you will be designing and developing websites, landing pages, mailers, and other web elements. Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets.
To thrive in this role you will need to stay current on the latest in front-end development practices and technology (HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, etc.). The challenges of daily work will keep you sharp and you will gain meaningful problem-solving skills while working for us.
The position is based in Bangalore, India.
Responsibilities:
- Ongoing updates to our global websites on Joomla CMS – adding new pages and working through creating new layouts
- Use our CMS and website development tools such as PageBuilder to build out web pages and then use your Html and CSS skills in modifying pages
- Create Html emails and campaign-related webpages
- Work with Graphic Design to bring graphic design onto the web platform.
- Work with the SEO and Design team to optimize our website's performance across browsers and devices for Search Engine Optimisation
Essential Criteria
- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Must have experience of having worked on the Joomla or WordPress CMS platform as well as strong working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
- Good graphic design skills using the following software applications: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel, InDesign, After Effects
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in teams
