SMiT announced its strategic investment in iBoxpay

July 18, 2013, Shenzhen. SMiT, a global-leading operation platform provider for secure distribution of paid contents, today announced the completion of its strategic investment in Shenzhen iBoxpay Information Technology C0., Ltd (iBoxpay).

iBoxpay is the first payment company that pass Unionpay’s security certificate in China. Different from other third-party payment entrepreneurial companies, iBoxpay positions itself as as a technology provider for mobile payment. While iBoxpay integrates many payment types, its products such as personal mobile POS box and Money Box still maintains high level of security. As for now the number of transactions has exceeded a million times with overall amount more than a billion yuan.

Ssports & SMiT Set Up Joint Venture

July 18, 2013, Shenzhen. Super Sports Media Group and SMiT today announced that they had signed agreement on joint venture formation in March this year. Aiming at providing football fans with access to top sporting events via internet transmission anywhere at any time, it will initially focus on promotion and operation of English Premier League (hereinafter referred as EPL) in China. The subordinate website Ssports (www.ssports.com) will be the only live network platform in China for all 380 games in one season, and among them nearly half of the games are exclusive.

By setting up this joint venture, Ssports and SMiT seek to introduce and enhance the wide spread and promotions of top sporting events like EPL on internet and mobile internet. It will focus on building up EPL as a more influential sporting event in China.
