成立於2011年，TheConsensus是一個社區網站，其目的是提供香港大學學生可能修讀課程全面的資訊。TheConsensus通過提供一個平台，從以往的學生分享他們的想法和經驗，作為一個渠道，替不同年級的學生，創建一個對話框，並有效地編制大家的意見作一個整體的共識。

inions on HKU courses. Post your thoughts as either a Criticism or a Praise, and hit the Facebook share button to instantly share with friends and classmates, all while leaving something behind for future students to learn from. You can use TheConsensus, to:
• See what past students had to say about a course before signing up.
• Criticize or Praise a course or hall you hated or loved at HKU.
• Connect with past students and search up classmates who are also on TheConsensus.
• View and share course-related material such as sample essays, past test papers, etc.

TheConsensus will be shutting down this week. We were the first course review site at HKU, but now there are more modern alternatives out there.

Thanks to everyone for participating in the community. It's been a fun ride.

And with that, we have over 300 praises on TheConsensus. Many predicted that there would be more criticisms than praises, due to the perception that students are more incentivized to complain.

However, it has forever been the case that TheConsensus experiences more praises than criticisms. By comparison to our 300 praises, we have only 250 criticisms.
