A heartfelt thank you to our valued guests for joining yesterday’s Executive Luncheon, co organised with Amazon Web Services(AWS) and Veeam Software. We’re incredibly grateful for the strong turnout and active participation from so many executives and decision makers.
We were honoured to have Patrick Lam, General Manager of SoftwareOne Hong Kong, opened the session by highlighting how rapidly AI technology is evolving and shifting the focus to govern AI effectively and securely.
It was a pleasure to have Terence Chow, Senior Generative AI GTM Specialist from AWS showcase the power of agentic AI through Amazon Quick—a powerful AI assistant for work that helps organise daily tasks with deep personalisation based on user behaviour.
With strong support from Veeam, Bill Ho, Regional Principal Security Architect, Greater China and Mongolia, highlighting how organisations can detect and manage AI agents across their environments, while also having the ability to “undo AI” with trusted backup capabilities.
We wrapped up with an inspiring fireside chat moderated by Alan F, joined by Henry Yuen, Head of Business Development, Enterprise in AWS, Patrick Lam, and Bill Ho, where the discussion centred on how executives can fully leverage the capabilities of AI agents—while ensuring a robust governance framework so that security becomes an enabler, not a blocker, for business growth.
