Apple Pay arrived Hong Kong last Thursday. Some adventurers have already tried the taste. Then what is Apple Pay? How does it work? Any requirements?

What is Apple Pay ?

Apple Pay is a digital payment gateway that uses iOS devices for purchases. It works with major credit cards from top banks. Simply add your credit cards to your iOS device and activate it before use.

How does it work ?

To pay with iPhone, just hold your iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. Or you can double-click the Home button when your iPhone is locked to access Wallet.

To pay with Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the display of Apple Watch up to the contactless reader. A gentle tap and beep confirm that your payment information is sent.

Collaborate Credit Cards companies and Banks ?

HSBC, Bank of China, Hang Seng Bank, Standard Chartered credit cards and American Express are currently available for Apple Pay in Hong Kong.

Apple today has officially released latest OS version for OS X El Capitan v10.11.6, OS X Yosemite v10.10.5, OS X Mavericks v10.9.5 through the Mac App Store for all users.

After installed this version:
• iTune
• Safari
• Security Update
• Remote Desktop Client Update

How to update your Mac:
1. Back up your Mac before installation
2. Open "Mac App Store"
3. Click "Updates" tag
4. Go to "Software Updates"
5. Click the "UPDATE" button

以前蘋果OS X非常安全，亦甚少遇到惡意程式或病毒。現在，大家使用時要小心一點。最近，有安全公司發現首個Ransomware綁架檔案程式。簡單一點來說，受感染的電腦的檔案被自動加密，用家需向黑客付贖金才可拿到解密的密碼。 用家曾下載過Transmission BitTorrent 2.90版本的話，就有可能感染這款惡意程式。這款惡意程式初期不會有任何反應，三天後準備好就會開始「工作」，令用家的用家檔案都被加密，無法再成功瀏覽或存取。加密後會收到指示（上圖），要向指定戶口付Bitcoin贖金，才可以拿到解密的方法。 據稱，蘋果和Transmission都已經立即採取行動。相關惡意程式的程式開發員…
