🚀 MEFERI MP30: Print Where the Work Happens

Why send a worker back to a fixed printer when labels can be created right at the point of activity? The ultra-portable mobile label printer MEFERI MP30 brings fast direct thermal printing to logistics, field service, retail, and mobile inventory operations ☄️

It prints labels and receipts at up to 120 mm/s with 203 dpi resolution, supporting media width from 25 to 80 mm – including linerless rolls. With TSPL, CPCL, ZPL, and ESC/POS command support, MP30 integrates seamlessly into your existing systems ✏️

Stay connected via Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, USB Type-C, and optional NFC tap-to-pair. A removable 7.4 V / 2600 mAh lithium-polymer battery delivers 230+ meters of printing per charge, while the 128×32 OLED display keeps operators informed in the field 💥

Built for real work: IP54 protection, 1-meter drop resistance, and support for Android, iOS, and Windows ❗️

📌 From 1D to 2D: Retail’s Next Barcode Shift

Retail is moving toward a new generation of barcodes. Under GS1’s Ambition 2027, the initial goal is for POS systems worldwide to read and process GTINs from both linear and GS1-compliant 2D barcodes by the end of 2027 💯

Why the shift? A 2D barcode can carry more than a product ID: batch, serial and expiry data, plus links to online product information. The transition will be gradual: for some time, many products will carry both formats, and 1D barcodes will not disappear overnight 🌡️

MEFERI scanners and mobile computers already read both 1D and 2D barcodes, helping retailers and supply chains move forward without disrupting current workflows ❗

💥 From Juicy Fruit to Smart Retail: 50+ Years of Scanning

In 1974, cashier Sharon Buchanan scanned a 10-pack of Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit gum at a Marsh supermarket in Troy, Ohio – the first retail product scanned with a Universal Product Code (UPC) 🚀

The breakthrough was not just the beep. It was a standardized, machine-readable identity that linked a physical product to digital data instantly and consistently. Today, the same principle connects checkout, receiving, inventory, traceability, and back-office operations worldwide ✏️

The story began in Ohio and has since become part of global retail. MEFERI is part of that evolution: our product lineup includes the MS33C handheld scanner and MS300R ring scanner, as well as the MS33B wireless handheld scanner, the MS63C on-counter scanner, and the MS400, a dedicated scanner for smartphones ⚡️

Our portfolio is expanding across wired, wireless, and mobile scanning applications – helping turn every scan into reliable, actionable data 🎈

🚨 MEFERI Robots: For Your Business – or Your Customers?

Robotics is not only a way to automate your own operations. It can also become a business in its own right: robots can be used as a platform for delivering services or offered to customers under a RaaS model – Robotics-as-a-Service.

In the first case – and the most common scenario – a company purchases robots to automate its own processes. In the second, it develops a dedicated RaaS offering. Here the robot becomes only one part of a broader service package – a complete solution in which customer may also receive software, remote diagnostics and monitoring, technical support, as well as software updates or even hardware enhancements.

Instead of purchasing the equipment outright, the customer pays for its use on a subscription basis – for example, based on the number of robots, actual operating hours, or the volume of completed tasks.

Are you planning to automate warehouse or production logistics? Or are you looking for autonomous cleaning solutions? That’s where MEFERI offers a wide range of robotic systems for different applications.

Come visit our robotics showroom and demo center! We’ll show you the available models in action and help you choose the right solution for your use case.

Whether you want to automate your own operations or build a robot-based service for your customers, we can help you select the right solution. In our showroom, you can see the available models in operation and compare different options before choosing the configuration that best fits your use case.

What about you? Do you use robots for your own operations, or as the foundation of a service – and an additional revenue stream – for your customers? ✏️

⚡ MEFERI Visits AVNET: Enterprise Mobility in Action

The MEFERI team recently visited AVNET, a global technology solutions company with extensive expertise in electronic components, supply chain services, and logistics 🚨

A key highlight of the visit was seeing the MEFERI ME61 in action within AVNET’s warehouse operations. The mobile computer is already supporting the company’s internal warehouse management processes, giving warehouse teams convenient and reliable access to the business applications they use throughout their daily work 🔥

For us, seeing MEFERI technology in a real operational environment is particularly valuable. It is a great example of how enterprise mobility can bring people, applications, and processes together to support more efficient and connected warehouse operations ✏️

We would like to thank the AVNET team for the warm welcome, the productive meeting, and their trust in MEFERI technology. Real-world deployments like this give us valuable insight and inspire us to keep developing practical mobility solutions for the evolving needs of modern enterprises ❤️‍🔥

💥 Warehouse Automation: Getting Started the Right Way

Warehouse automation can deliver significant results. But to achieve them, it’s important to understand which tasks should be assigned to robots and where they can deliver the best results 🚀

Before choosing equipment, take the time to analyze your current processes, define your automation goals, and clarify the results you expect. That way, you can select a solution that truly matches your warehouse’s specific tasks 🎈

Robots are a powerful tool for improving efficiency – but only when applied to the right processes 📕

In our new article, we look at 7 common mistakes companies make when evaluating a warehouse automation project:

🚨 How Technology Adoption Affects Employees

Optimizing operational processes across retail, logistics, and manufacturing can improve not only speed and cost efficiency, but also employee satisfaction. This is supported by an Oxford Economics study, published on July 21, 2026.

Among transportation and logistics companies that improved their picking and packing workflows, 34% reported increased employee satisfaction and retention. Meanwhile, 56% of manufacturers reported productivity gains after modernizing their production lines.

These findings suggest that the effectiveness of automation should be assessed not only through operational performance metrics, but also through its direct impact on the people who use these technologies. When operations become faster and errors occurs less frequently, employees perform their tasks more effectively, contributing to the company’s overall performance and long-term success.

Do you think employee satisfaction and productivity are directly linked? ✏️
