Reality Hack @ MIT Returns — The Global Hub for Spatial Computing

HKXRA is proud to support Reality Hack at MIT (Co-organized by Reality Hack, Inc. and VR/AR MIT), returning 22–26 January 2026, where XR creators, designers, and developers from around the world come together to push the boundaries of immersive technology.

The recent catastrophic event in Tai Po has cast a shadow of grief over our city. The Hong Kong Extended Reality Association (HKXRA) offers its sincere condolences and deepest sympathies to those who have lost loved ones and to everyone injured or impacted.

In times of great challenge, the strength of our community shines brightest. We are proud to be part of a city where citizens and professionals alike—especially the tireless firefighters and emergency teams—acted so swiftly and courageously.

感謝各位出席 HKXRA 與理大電腦系合辦的「MScMT 最佳專案頒獎禮暨 XR Dialogue」。活動由本會主席淘滿勳先生主持，與講者深入探討 XR 如何重塑文化旅遊——從沉浸式歷史場景到新型數碼敍事，為城市帶來更具吸引力的文化體驗。

同場亦表揚理大「元宇宙科技碩士」學生的卓越成果，並頒發由 HKXRA 贊助合共港幣 100,000 元最佳專案大獎。
HKXRA 將繼續支持新一代 XR 人才，推動香港在文化創新領域邁向國際舞台。

【HKXRA × PolyU | Driving Cultural Tourism with XR Innovation】

Thank you to everyone who joined the HKXRA × PolyU MScMT Best Project Awards cm XR Dialogue, co-hosted with PolyU’s Department of Computing.
Our Chairman, Mr. Terry Dao, led an insightful discussion on how XR is reshaping cultural tourism—from immersive heritage experiences to new forms of digital storytelling.

We also celebrated the outstanding achievements of MSc in Metaverse Technology students, presenting the HKXRA-sponsored HKD 100,000 Best Project Award.
HKXRA will continue to nurture emerging XR talent and strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a leader in cultural and creative innovation.
