Maxwell GeoSystems A Special Update on Covid-19 from Maxwell GeoSystems’ CEO. The world has seen a crisis of unprecedented nature and effects. Together we will get through this.

Maxwell GeoSystems drives global infrastructure with MissionOS,a smart construction data management software trusted by top contractors and consultants across mining, tunnelling, and environmental projects. Over the course of this year we have all been watching the development of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic with feelings of concern and great uncertainty. Our day to day lives have been overwh

elmed by this unimaginable chain of events

As we continue to navigate through uncharted territory, it is important as always that we continue to remain calm, show solidarity and stand by each other in this difficult time. Our hearts go out to anyone in our global community who may be affected by the coronavirus. Notwithstanding, we still have a very important job to do in ensuring the vital level of business continuity that supports our clients, who are relying on us, are maintained. We have introduced various support measures, along with an added set of resources that we hope will help us all adapt to these times. Our MissionOS system software continues to demonstrate its reliability, robustness and resilience as a market-leading cloud-based platform for construction data management providing essential continuity of service to our clients despite these extraordinary circumstances. To protect you and your families, our business, and the communities we live and work in, we have maintained our business operations throughout with as many colleagues as possible working from home, complying with the respective local government guidelines & restrictions brought into place. We thank everyone in the company for their determination, adaptability and resilience during this most difficult of times. By doing so, we will live up to our social responsibility to prevent the virus spreading further. Inevitably, the outcome and effect of this pandemic presents us with new challenges. We will embrace these new changes as they arise, in sync with global society. Together we will be able to meet these challenges, with the help of all of you, as well as that of our customers, partners and service providers. Stay safe. Dr. Angus Maxwell

Underground Construction Prague 2026 (Czech Tunnelling Association (CzTA) ITA-AITES) is underway, and Maxwell GeoSystems is here.

Since the event opened on 25th May, we’ve been in conversations with engineers, contractors, consultants, and infrastructure teams - working through the real challenges of monitoring, risk management, and data workflows in underground projects.

We’re also presenting at the conference: Improving Risk Management Through Better Monitoring and Data Management Contracts - a session on how monitoring and data management practices shape project visibility, coordination, reporting, and decision-making on complex ground engineering projects.

If you’re in Prague this week, we’d enjoy crossing paths. And if you’re not, happy to continue the conversation here or online.

The tunnelling industry is navigating a significant shift — from intuition-driven project management to data-informed decision-making. ITA World Tunnel Congress 2026 (WTC2026) in Montréal (15–21 May) is where much of that conversation happens, and we’re glad to be part of it.
Dr Angus Maxwell, CEO of Maxwell GeoSystems, will be at WTC 2026 throughout the congress — connecting with engineers, project owners, contractors, and technology teams working at the frontier of underground infrastructure.
This year’s theme, Connecting Communities Through Underground Infrastructure, reflects the growing importance of innovation, collaboration, and resilient infrastructure in shaping the future of tunnelling and underground development. We’re attending to listen as much as to contribute — and to better understand where the gaps still are.
If you’re at and want to discuss digital data management or how teams are approaching project control in complex underground environments, we’d welcome the conversation.

Maxwell GeoSystems was pleased to take part in a recent seminar hosted by the Council of Engineers Thailand - the professional body for engineers in the country.

Held as part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme, the session brought together professionals from across the industry to share insights on piling, tunnelling, and deep excavation.

The programme featured a strong lineup of speakers, including Noppadol Phienwej and Narong Thasnanipan, offering a valuable mix of academic perspective and practical experience.

As part of the programme, the Maxwell GeoSystems team shared a few perspectives:
• Angus Maxwell spoke about the role of centralised monitoring data in improving project visibility and supporting better risk management
• Banjoe Valdez presented a case study from Singapore’s DTSS Phase 2, illustrating how digital approaches are being applied in practice
• Rich Laver explored how AI-powered data interfacing can accelerate the interpretation of monitoring data, enabling earlier identification of potential construction impacts and supporting more proactive decision-making on site

Engagements like these play an important role in advancing industry-wide understanding, and we value the opportunity to contribute to conversations that are shaping the future of geotechnical engineering.
