You will be part of a team that develops software for air cargo handling and automated car park systems. The projects are very challenging and innovative. Our client is a global market leader in the air cargo handling domain. The air cargo handling system is deployed in 4 airport cargo warehouses and more are under development.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design/implement innovative/complex systems
- Coordinate a small team of software engineers
- Participate in system architecture design
- Participate in Code reviews

- 4+ years of experience as a backend developer
- Very good knowledge of JAVA
- Very good knowledge of SQL / RDBMS
- Very good knowledge of restful apis and related frameworks (e.g JAX-RS, spring mvc)
- Very good knowledge of Spring framework
- Very good knowledge of JPA
- Experience with NOSQL databases (mongoDB, elastic)
- Experience with distributed systems (message queues, integration patterns, clustering etc.)
- Comfortable with Git
- Ability to write maintainable code
- Team player
- Very good knowledge of the English Language

- Full-stack development (Angular, HTML, CSS)
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Open ID/ OAuth 2.0 protocols
- Experience with caching solutions (e.g. Hazelcast)
- Experience with microservices
- Experience with non-blocking libraries (e.g. reactor, rxjava)
