Google ranks pages based on many factors but one of the main factors is it has to give the user the most accurate and up to date information as possible. Just because the content is new doesn't mean it will rank above something written 10 years ago.

Must include images in the article which are named and labeled correctly. This piece of content will always be there and when people search they will find it. So this is a massive chance for you to get your voice heard.

General information about the business is great to start but go deep. For example for restaurants things like "Nikos will only buy meat from the local butcher Yiannis who he went to school with, Yiannis has been a butcher for 20 years and only feeds his lambs the best organic food therefore making his product superior to the mass produced supermarket rubbish”

People want to read details and need to be interested plus they want to learn. Having these stories published gives the local business a massive edge.

This article should be published on your own website if you have one or 3rd party directory website you work with. As long as it's on the internet it exists for people to find and discover your business. Accurate and relevant information doesn't age. You can update this article as many times as you want without affecting the google rankings.

If Google doesn't show the best pages first it doesn't have a business so be the best and you will rank as high as possible.

Translate this article in the as many languages as you can afford ! Russian people do not type English into google to search, think about it. So this applies to all other nationalities.

Translate first into languages that you work with the most like, Dutch, German, French, Polish, Russian. Then publish this article again in them languages. Translations do not cost a lot to get it done properly. Do not use google translate for free as the translation will not read the way it should. But if you don't have the spare money google translate is better than nothing.
(Regular blog posts and fresh updates for a business is the best way to keep it relevant.)

Once you have this masterpiece you will be able to use it time and time again over so many other platforms. Put it this way if you don't write the article you will end up having to write so many things, so many times on other platforms you wish you would have done it in the first place.
