🎙️ As part of the session “From Lab to Market: Innovating Through Technology Transfer”, Panos Sarigiannidis, Full Professor at Πανεπιστήμιο Δυτικής Μακεδονίας - University of Western Macedonia and Co-founder of , participated in the panel “Success Stories: Collaborations Between Research Groups, Industry, and Spin-offs”, presenting the company’s journey from University research at to the creation of a deep-tech spin-off focused on , , and solutions.

From the first sketches to the final assembly, the team designs and builds a competitive racing motorcycle, and has proudly represented Greece at the prestigious MotoStudent International Competition in Spain.

👏 We are excited and proud to announce that MetaMind Innovations - MINDS actively participated in the 3rd NATO held in Brussels, Belgium!

During the event, our R&D Director, Nikos Ntampakis, PhDc, together with our Co-Founder, Panagiotis Radoglou-Grammatikis, PhD, had the opportunity to present MetaMind’s cutting-edge Explainable AI (XAI) solution, showcasing how transparency and trust can be embedded into AI systems for military and defense applications.

👏 Proud to have successfully completed the Drones4GREEN Project activities in from 9 to 12 December 2025.

Through the Drones Training, Multiplier Event, and Closure Project Meeting, this + project showcased how drone technologies can be effectively integrated into industrial and agricultural settings, supporting skills development, innovation, and the green transition. Drones4GREEN Project paves the way for updated HEI curricula, hands-on learning, and environmentally conscious use of UAV technologies across Europe.

MetaMind Innovations - MINDS is proud to announce that the authors Nikos Ntampakis, Konstantinos Diamantaras, Ioanna Chouvarda, Vasileios Argyriou and Panagiotis Sarigiannidis present a novel deep-learning system that enhances dementia diagnosis through an optimised MRI slice-selection pipeline. This advanced approach automatically identifies the most informative brain slices, achieving high diagnostic performance while preserving clinical interpretability. The framework demonstrates how targeted slice selection combined with robust classification architectures can support reliable, non-invasive assessment in elderly populations.

✨This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant agreement No. 101095435 (REALM_EU).
