Plegma Labs was established by a team of seasoned professionals to pursue our goal of participating in the evolutionary transition towards the Internet of Everything. We are working on a system that overcomes fragmentation issues and reduces the complexity in acquiring, storing and managing all this newly available data produced by sensors, smart devices, other systems and real life events. We bridge protocol barriers between different hardware/software vendors and apply meaningful rules and workflows that add intelligence to each of our system-applications, ultimately leading to efficiency and optimization.

Plegma Labs is developing ELEGANT, an AI-powered platform designed to make photovoltaic plants smarter, more efficient and more sustainable. By bringing forecasting, biodiversity monitoring and predictive maintenance together, the platform gives PV operators a more complete view of their installations.

The solution combines advanced energy forecasting, computer vision for real-time biodiversity monitoring and drone-based thermal inspections to identify potential panel issues at an early stage. By helping optimise plant performance and extend panel lifetimes, ELEGANT can also contribute to reducing resource use and emissions.

With the support of Renew-Booster, PLEGMA can accelerate the development and demonstration of its integrated platform, supporting smarter PV operations and a more sustainable future for solar energy.
