"The real reason to head to the Aretai loudspeakersi and hARt Lab room was, of course, to hear another wonderful system at Vienna 2026. I discovered hARt Lab, which is from Greece, in the AudioThesis room at AXPONA Audio Expo North America, and I was impressed with the sound.

Despite the close quarters in the Aretai and hARt Lab room, I heard a well-developed soundstage that was grounded by one of the finest low-frequency performances I’ve heard from a speaker this size. (The rear-firing tweeter makes the Contra 100S sound really BIG and dynamic.)

The Tune Six, of course, mates fantastic sound with a plethora of features–it’s a hybrid design with tubes in the preamp stage, and it also includes a streamer, a phono stage, a headphone amplifier, and an optional DAC.

The Aretai and hARt Lab system was compact in size, with a huge talent for creating excitement in a small space."

"... superb-sounding system with a solid bass foundation that never stepped out of line; the midrange is superb, allowing each instrument to have air and space, and the treble comes across detailed and controlled without sounding sharp. We got to hear Ratchet at a decent volume, and the whole room was moving, I mean, this is true trouser flapping bass ..."
