Hotel operations are becoming smarter, but the real value of technology is not in replacing people. It is in helping hotel teams make faster, better-informed decisions.

Our CEO & Co-Founder, Yannis Charalambakis, presented Hotel Toolbox and the Smart Connected Tourism research project at the Cretan Hotel Managers Association, where we had the opportunity to share how we are exploring practical AI and machine learning applications for the hospitality industry.

Through the project, implemented in collaboration with the University of Piraeus, we are focusing on real hotel workflows such as:
šŸ”¹smarter housekeeping prioritization
šŸ”¹more relevant upselling recommendations
šŸ”¹faster access to hotel knowledge, SOPs, and internal procedures
For us, AI should not be a separate tool outside daily operations.
It should be embedded into the workflows hotel teams already use, supporting staff with better information, clearer recommendations, and always with human control.
