Η ΟΠΤΙΚΗ ΤΑΥΤΟΤΗΤΑ ΤΟΥ ΦΕΣΤΙΒΑΛ ΑΘΗΝΩΝ ΕΠΙΔΑΥΡΟΥ 2026 ΑΠΟ ΤΟΥΣ POLKADOT DESIGN
Η οπτική ταυτότητα του Φεστιβάλ είναι μια πρόσκληση που καλεί τον θεατή να επιλέξει για το πως θα σταθεί απέναντι στην τέχνη. Θα τον τοποθετήσει ως έναν παρατηρητή ή θα του επιτρέψει να συμμετέχει στην ουσία του έργου;
Στο βίντεο που ακολουθεί, αποτυπώνεται η διαδικασία: χειρωνακτική, σωματική, σχεδόν τελετουργική.
Εκεί όπου η χειρονομία μετατρέπεται από ίχνος σε οπτική γλώσσα, περιμένοντας από το κοινό να δώσει το τελικό νόημα.

THE VISUAL IDENTITY OF THE ATHENS EPIDAURUS FESTIVAL 2026 BY POLKADOT DESIGN
The Festival’s visual identity is an invitation for the viewer to choose how they will stand towards art. Will it position them as an observer, or will it allow them to participate in the work’s very essence?
The following video captures the process: manual, physical, almost ritualistic. It is where gesture is transformed from a trace into a visual language, waiting for the audience to define its final meaning.

The book’s diagrams are more than visuals;
they are optical proofs that transform data into arguments. By choosing what to highlight, each chart builds a case based on precision rather than rhetoric.

The cover references the early digital era, when data appeared as green light on black screens—not as nostalgia, but as a reminder that before interpretation, there is always the raw flicker of data.

Printed with fluorescent ink, light becomes both a literal and conceptual tool: diagrams illuminate information, reveal relationships, and bring forward what often remains unseen.

This approach avoids emotional rhetoric, relying instead on research and evidence, encouraging a clear reading of facts before interpretation.
