is a design practitioner and teacher. A graduate of the London College of Printing, he is Graphic Design Pathway Leader at Vakalo College of Art and Design, Greece, where he has taught for 20 years.

Dimitris Stefanidis
trained in London, Athens, and New York’s Pratt Institute, where he completed an MA in Packaging and Communication Design. He previously worked for Pentagram in New York and FutureBrand in London. He is an Alexander S.

As Greece’s leading high-end department store, has always stood for refined taste, contemporary elegance and a distinct sense of quality.
For the redesign of attica’s shopping bags, we treated the bag as more than a daily essential — as a statement of identity, recognition and quiet prestige.
•
We introduced the signature Attica Purple and refined the logo with subtle precision, enhancing the brand’s sense of elegance, quality and contemporary luxury. Positioned at the top, the logo and graphic line become a quiet symbol of elevation — reflecting the refined, high-end experience attica is known for.

Through an inventive use of duality, the everyday shopping bag and the gift bag become distinct yet unmistakably connected. Handles, ribbons and wrapping paper extend the same colour palette, revealing a world of colour, shape and beauty from within.

Credia’s visual identity was implemented as a cohesive, flexible system across all touchpoints. The logotype’s circular geometry ensures clarity and recognition in every application, from signage and digital platforms to printed materials and internal communications.

Illustrations were applied consistently using line work, human elements, and the incomplete line technique to convey relatability and inclusivity. A bespoke typeface and carefully curated color palette reinforce the brand’s values, providing clarity, vibrancy, and a contemporary tone.

Special attention was given to the integration of the identity in real-world contexts — terminals, brochures, digital banking interfaces, and social media — ensuring that the brand is experienced as unified, approachable, and human-centered in every interaction.

The identity communicates trust, collaboration, and openness, distinguishing CrediaBank in a competitive banking market. By combining clear visual elements with relatable human imagery, the brand now offers a cohesive, engaging experience that resonates with clients and positions the bank for continued growth and recognition.
