Connection to MS TEAMS with OpenScape Session Border Controler (SBC).
• Fully certified by Microsoft for Direct Routing with local media optimization, with and without OSV/OS 4000. In deplyments without OSV/OS 4000, the OS SBC provides it’s own B2BUA.
• Provides secure connection of OpenScape Voice and OpenScape 4000 IP telephony solution to carrier-based SIP trunking services
that provide access to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN).
• OpenScape SBC also provides for compatiblity with the SIP signaling variations support by various SSPs.
• OpenScape SBC can be configured to initiate registration towards the SIP trunk if required by the service provider; for example, this is
required for Microsoft Teams. This SBC feature is sometimes referred to as “surrogate registration”,
• Used also for private SIP trunking connections between Enterprise VoIP Networks.

Unify Phone is provided to the end user as a client which can be used with other applications as an embedded telephony client connected to their existing OpenScape platform.
