We were honoured to be invited by The Climate Sociologist to the Youth Game Lab Climate and Culture Edition, and what an experience it was.

Students had an engaging experience designing their own climate games, and STEM4ALL brought more hands-on activities into the room. We set up our Climate and Renewable Energy STEM Kit and ran hands-on sessions with students, letting them build and test real renewable energy prototypes right there alongside the game designers.

The Youth Game Lab reminded us that climate education does not have a single format. It can be a board game. It can be a story. It can be a kit. What matters is that it is hands-on, culturally relevant, and puts young people in the role of creators rather than passive listeners.

Thank you to The Climate Sociologist for creating this space and for extending the invitation. The work you are doing to make climate learning engaging and community-rooted is exactly the kind of innovation the continent needs more of.
