I am Vincentia, 30 years of age and married to a twin. I am a distance student and my husband is the one taking care of my fees. We are married for almost 2yrs and still there hasn't been any sign of pregnancy. My husband's twin sister on one occasion called to threaten me that if I think I have taken over her brother, then I should not be surprise with what awaits me. She went on to say that until we are 5years in marriage, I will never get pregnant. I told my husband and my mother in-law about it but they treated the issue as not important.
I have seen my doctor for a proper checks on my fertility and all seem to be OK with me ,my husband has refuse to take a medical check stating that the results he had before we got married proved he is potent.
The most painful part of it all is that I dreamt about her sister and me arguing. When I woke my husband up to tell him about the dream, he didn’t take it serious.
Recently she sent me a message telling me I should be wise and leave her brother for her. I showed the text to my husband and all he could say was oh nothing will happen to us.
He later agreed to go for another test which proved that he had low s***m count.
His attitude towards this issue has kept my parents wondering what man I am married to. My parents have advised me to end my marriage because the issue is spiritual. I love my husband and don’t want to leave him but if I don’t and something bad happens to me I am on my own.
What should I do?
Listen to my parents?
Or follow my heart.
This has really affected my distance education academic performance
Please advise me
