EFFIA CONSTITUENCY ORGANISED ORIENTATION FOR POLLING STATION EXECUTIVES AND ELECTORAL AREA COORDINATORS
After a successful Polling Station Executive elections, Electoral Area Coordinators elections and Constituency Executive elections, the Constituency Executive Committee together with Member of Parliament organized an orientation for the entire Polling Station Executives and Electoral Area Coordinators yesterday, 3rd September, 2022 at the Takoradi Technical University Auditorium.
The objective of the Orientation among other things is for the officers of the party to know their core duties and mandates of being an officer of the New Patriotic Party. And to adequately prepare and position them for the historic ambitious agenda of breaking the 8.
The programme started with a welcome address by the executive Chairman of the constituency.
Member of Parliament of the Constituency who is also the Minister for Public Enterprises Hon Joseph Cudjoe in his address outlined the projects undertaken by his office and ones which are ongoing. He entreated the polling station executives to be firm and speak against any form of propaganda against the party.
M.C.E for Effia-Kwesimintsim Municipal Assembly Hon. Kojo Acquah affectionately called Edwumawura, in his turn outlined projects done by the Assembly and encourage officers of the party to always seek clarification in any issues bothering them.
Resource person in the person of Dr Bruce Amartey who is a Snr lecturer at T.T.U and Regional I.T coordinator for Western Region, admonished Party Officers to trumpet our government achievements in our 6 years in power for we have done a lot as government.
Mr. Ebenezer Osei Owusu, Deputy Regional Organizer on his part educated the Polling station officers of their roles and functions and how effective they can organize the party base from the polling station.
Mr. Yaw Amoabeng, Western Regional Organiser, admonished party officers not to openly take sides in the upcoming Presidential Primaries to avoid disunity in the party.
