As part of His dreams to improve education in rural communities in Ghana through ICT Learning, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Charity Foundation has opened other ultra modern computer laboratory at Ahafo Kenyasi with support from the Omanhene of Kenyasi (Nana Kofi Abiri), Vital Capital Fund and Appleseeds Academy both in Israel.
The centre (Lady Julia Community Knowledge Centre) aim is to bridge the rural-urban digital gap through ICT training.
Lady Julia CKC supports and empowers schools through their voluntary ICT training workshops.
The Centre offers a wide range of computer courses such as Introduction to computer, Computer Keyboard, MS Word, MS EXcel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, Computer Hardware, Computer Networking(CCNA), Graphic Design(CoralDraw, PhotoShop), DBMS, Content Management System, Web Design, Software Development.
The centre works from Monday to Saturday(8:00am to 7:00pm). Location: Opposite R/C Primary School

In this second post we share our goal and services:-
The goal of the CKC training is to provide knowledge and tools to enhance productivity, stimulate competitiveness and bring about economic development. Our offerings include a variety of Technical and Vocational Education Training and Services. This include from most basic level courses (basic ICT Skills) to advanced courses such as Cisco Networking and Web Design. Each course combines technological, vocational and soft skills. The courses do not require prerequisite knowledge and skills beyond a basic understanding and use of computers. Please take advantage of our free tuition for the first 50 learners! Dear All,
This is our first post. We are the Community Knowledge Center (CKC) located at the State Boys School compound in Suame, Kumasi. We have been established by the Otumfuo Foundation in collaboration with AppleSeeds, Vital Capital, Google, TechAide, and Vodafone. It is established as a technological hub to provide training and technological services to the whole community.
