Elections

JimahTech Limited, developers of the Voteezy electronic voting platform, proudly reaffirms that the National Supporters’ Chairmanship Elections of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, held on Thursday, August 28, 2025,
were conducted in a manner that was credible, free, fair, and totally transparent.

This historic exercise marks the first-ever digital voting process by a Ghanaian football club, allowing supporters across the globe to cast their votes seamlessly and monitor the process in real time.

The successful ex*****on of this election highlights JimahTech’s commitment to delivering trusted, innovative, and inclusive digital solutions for the sports and entertainment industries in Africa.

Following the elections, one of the contestants, Mr. Benjamin Obeng Sekyere, expressed concerns regarding the integrity of the process. However, we are pleased to note that Mr. Sekyere has since retracted his claims and has publicly accepted the outcome of the elections during an appearance on Kessben TV’s Sports Show, where the leadership of JimahTech was also present to explain the details of the election system and demonstrate its transparency.

We are also pleased that the management of Asante Kotoko SC and the Elections Committee have expressed satisfaction with the electoral process and duly declared the winner at the close of polls on Thursday, 28th August 2025.
